In Cancún, the underwater museum is popular among tourists. It is an underwater sculpture museum that visitors can experience via a glass bottom boat, scuba diving or snorkeling. The Xcaret Park in Cancun is a theme park that offers attractions like snorkeling and cave exploration.
Around 130 km south of Cancun is a resort town named Tulum. It started out as a Mayan city and later gained popularity for its beaches. The ancient city of Teotihuacan is home to the Pyramid of the Sun, one of the largest pyramids in the world.
Chichen Itza is the most famous of all the Mayan Cities and is the most developed of the Mayan ruins in Mexico. El Castillo, a step pyramid, and Maya temple is the highlight of the archaeological site. El Caracol, the Observatory, is also popular among tourists.
When to go:
Mexico is a huge country and the weather varies region to region. The best time to visit is between December and April when there is almost no rainfall.
