Brazil is the largest country in South America, covering 8.5 million square kilometers of land. Brasilia is the capital and Portuguese is its official language. It is a very diverse country, from the urban streets of Sao Paulo to the tropical Amazon rain forest, there is plenty to see in Brazil!

The best time to visit Brazil is from April to June, when the high temperatures of the previous months decline.

If you’re looking for a party, Rio de Janeiro is the place to go. With its beautiful beaches and its delightful harbor, it is no wonder that Rio is nicknamed “cidade maravilhosa”, or marvelous city. Every year one the biggest carnivals in the world is held with 2 million people per day on the streets. The city also has the famous landmark, known for its enormity, Christ the Redeemer.

Sao Paulo is the largest city in Brazil and known for its cultural diversity and skyscrapers. It is home to many communities from different parts of the world and has the largest Japanese community outside of Japan.

Fortaleza is famous for its spectacular beaches which are great for swimming, sunbathing and surfing. If you want to see the Amazon, however, Manaus is where you have to head!

 Online form for requesting a visa, with photo.

–  Valid passport.

–  Birth certificate or Marriage Certificate (for married couples), certified by the local Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

–  Copy of passport identification pages.

–  Certificate of Criminal Background, attested by the local Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

–  Proof of hotel reservation

–  Travel schedule, with reservation of passage to Brazil

–  Bank statement for the last six months.

–  Correspondence of the company or institution to which the applicant is bound, which clarifies the profession, position and function performed, as well as the purpose of the trip to Brazil. 

–  Invitation letter of the person, entity or company of contact in Brazil, authenticated in a Brazilian registry.

–  Letter of recommendation and certificate from the Chamber of Commerce.

–  NTN number.

–  Proof of payment for participation in trade fairs (if applicable).
